What does spring mean to you? Doing a great big tidy up in your house? Gorging on chocolate? Or watching the lovely lamps leap about? Okay, all of those things might be enjoyable (or at the very least a necessary evil), but what we really want to spend the season doing is sprucing up our poker game. And that’s exactly what you can do thanks to the Unibet Spring Bootcamp.
If you haven’t signed up to Unibet yet, you should really hop to it. When you do, of course you’ll be able to take part in this mega €40,000 promotion. But you’ll also be able to avail of this special welcome offer as a new player…
£30 Refund Bet
Unibet Spring Bootcamp is a leaderboard-based promotion that’s dishing out €40,000 in prizes in total until 19 May at 23:59 UTC.
It’s designed to appeal to all types of players, which is why it has two different leaderboards. There’s a high-stakes leaderboard, including Omaha and Hold’em play. Then there’s a mid-stakes leaderboard, for those previously mentioned game types.
The great thing about these leaderboards is that they reset after two weeks. That means that even if you haven’t been taking part since the start of the promotion (it kicked off back on 25 March), you still have the chance to take down the top prize.
The prizes on offer here are some pretty sweet payouts. As we’ll get in to in more detail later on, this is a leaderboard promotion with a High Stakes and a Medium Stakes level.
The high stakes prizes are as follows:
Then, if you place in the mid-stakes tournament table, here’s what you get:
The earning mechanism for this promotion really sets it out from the crowd. We’re used to players earning points for the amount they spend in rake/juice at poker tables, but this is different.
It’s an achievement-based leaderboard earning system. So that means, you get points based on completing particular tasks. Some of them are based on luck, whereas you have a certain amount of control over others. Take a read through the Unibet Spring Bootcamp achievements and you’ll see what we mean…
When you play at higher stakes, your points for completing a particular achievement are multiplied. So that means it makes sense to jump up the blind levels, if you feel comfortable playing for bigger money, that is.
The minimum stakes that count for the Unibet Spring Bootcamp is NL/PL 25 for the mid-stakes tournament. And for that level, as you might expect, there’s no multiplier.
But edge up to NL/PL 50 and your points are doubled for every unlimited achievement you pull off. Then go for the biggest stake level in the tournament, NL/PL 100, and your points are tripled.
The lowest stakes you can qualify for the high stakes tournament at is NL/PL 200, which doesn’t get a multiplier. Push yourself to NL/PL 400 and all your points for unlimited achievements are doubled.
You can boost your points total with these daily and weekly achievements. Unlike the omaha and hold’em achievements, these don’t qualify for a multiplier depending on your stake level. Instead you’ll just get these points every time you complete the tasks, up to once a day or once a week.
Just keep in mind that you can only complete a daily or weekly achievement for one particular game type per day or week. So it’s smarter to simply complete one and then move on to try and get another one under your belt to increase your points earning potential.
In this promotion, they’re calling the leaderboard earning period Camps. We guess that fits in nicely with the slight military vibe to this promotion.
Camp 1 is already done and dusted and we’re coming to the end of Camp 2. That ends on 21 April. If you haven’t started playing yet, we’d suggest focusing on Unibet Spring Bootcamp from next week, as Camp 3 is running from 22 April until 5 May. The final leaderboard period, Camp 4, starts on 6 May and finishes on 19 May.
